- Practised farriery since 1980 and is a well-known and respected farrier who specialises in remedial farriery ranging from orthopaedic work, young stock, subtle lameness in competition horses to extreme situations such as severe laminitic cases.
- In 2000 Andrew developed the Imprint® Equine Foot Care System which has revolutionised the way in which a number of hoof care problems, including laminitis, are treated.
- Formally an executive member and examiner for the Worshipful Company of Farriers for many years.
- Handles referral work from veterinary and farriery practices throughout the country and overseas.
- Trained a number of farrier apprentices.
- Conducts training courses for advanced farriery techniques for farriers and veterinary surgeons in the UK and abroad.
- Performs farriery demonstrations, lecture tours and speaking engagements internationally.
