Consultation

The initial consultation, which may take up to two hours, is crucial and takes into account your horse’s medical history, assessment of x-rays, veterinary reports and its present condition. This information is essential in determining the cause of the problem and the individual treatment that will be required. A biomechanical assessment may also be suggested.

Consultation may include the following procedures:

  • Analysis of conformation, hoof profiles and limb alignment.
  • Gait analysis.
  •  Record findings and evidence.
  •  Monitor treatment progress.
  •  A treatment program will be recommended following initial consultation and assessment.
